It’s time to team up, dream big, and create something amazing for the horses we all love. Whether you’re flying solo or joining forces with your crew, your creativity and generosity will help make this year’s Heart of the Horse a huge success!
What’s the Goal?
Each team creates a themed basket (minimum value $125) to be auctioned at Heart of the Horse. Baskets can include items, services, or experiences (experiences tend to do especially well!) Here are some ideas to get you thinking:
- Experiences
- Adventures
- Date Nights
- Getaways
- Behind The Scenes Tours
- Wine/Beer/Spirts
- Spa Treatments
- Gift Cards
Last year, you helped raise over $20,000. Let’s top that in 2025!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Gather and Brainstorm
- Get your team together—or go solo!
- Come up with a fun, creative, or unique theme.
- Ask friends, family, local businesses, or coworkers to donate items, services, or gift cards.
- Every little bit helps to add up to something amazing!
2. Fill Out a Procurement Form
- Everyone who donates an item must complete a procurement form to ensure proper tax credit.
- Submit the completed form electronically to caseya@safehorses.org
- Also, please attach a printed copy of the procurement form to your physical basket when you drop it off.

3. Delivery Details
- Baskets are due by June 1, 2025
- Drop them off at the SAFE Office, in the conference room
- Not a packaging pro? Don’t worry! Just drop off your items—we can help with the presentation magic for you.
