COVID Guidelines For This Event

Saturday’s gathering takes place in an outdoor covered arena, which is a HUGE space. The arena is open on all four sides for plenty of fresh airflow, and the risk of COVID transmission is low. However, we respectfully ask that if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to Heart of the Horse and risk the health of other guests.

Dress Code:

This year, Heart of the Horse is a Barn Party, so there is no need to dress up fancy. Most people will be dressed casually in a western style. Think jeans, boots, and cowboy hats! Summer dresses are nice too! Just dress comfortably and be ready to two-step once the band starts playing.

A Very Important Note about Footwear:

This Barn Party takes place in a barn, so you’ll be walking on loose, sandy footing in our outdoor arena. We strongly advise our guests NOT to wear open-toed shoes or high heels. You’ll be much more comfortable in boots or sneakers that you don’t mind getting a little dusty. There will be a dance floor, but the tables will be arranged in the center of the arena where the footing is loose and sandy, just how the riding horses like it.
